EMMA’s Children Care Center implements integrated, child-centered interventions designed to produce measurable and sustainable outcomes for orphans, marginalized children, and youth:
Child Care, Protection, and Safeguarding
We operate and support child care centers in selected locations, providing safe accommodation, protection services, and case management in line with national child protection standards. Our approach prioritizes safeguarding, dignity, and the best interests of the child.
Education Access and Retention
We increase access to and completion of quality education by supporting school enrollment, attendance, and retention through payment of school fees, provision of learning materials, academic mentorship, and coordination with schools and local authorities.
Health, Nutrition, and Well-Being
We improve children’s health outcomes by facilitating access to essential healthcare services, nutrition support, regular health screening, and hygiene education for children both within care centers and in surrounding communities.
Skills Development and Transition to Independence
We prepare adolescents and youth for independent living by linking them to accredited vocational training institutions, life-skills programs, and career guidance that enhance employability and self-reliance.
Youth Employment and Economic Empowerment
We support youth graduates to access decent employment or self-employment opportunities through job-readiness training, entrepreneurship support, and referral to employment opportunities at national and, where safe and appropriate, international levels, with strong attention to safety and protection.
Through these interventions, EMMA’s Children Care Center delivers results-oriented programs, strengthens community systems, and ensures effective use of donor resources to achieve lasting impact for vulnerable children and youth.
